M. W.Vista Del Lago·2+ weeks agoWarning! At about 715 am this morning I was walking up West Bernardo Drive with my dog when a car pulled over on the opposite side of the road, a man jumped out, popped the trunk, then went back to the driver’s side, spread his legs and started masturbating. It all went very fast and I didn’t realize at first what was happening. When I realized what was happening, I pulled out my phone and yelled “I am calling the police” and he quickly jumped back in the car and drove off. I didn’t get a good look, but he was stocky, likely Pacific Islander. These are the photos I was able to take of the car when he drove off. I filed a police report. I am posting this to create awareness. If you recognize the car or anything about this please call the police.8Like10

CITY OF SAN DIEGO2+ weeks agoAgencyAlert! We continue to receive calls from concerned residents regarding people claiming to be from the "water department." These scammers often say they need to enter people's homes to check the quality of their tap water. They are not employees of the City of San Diego and do not represent the City's Public Utilities Department. The City does not test water nor does it make repairs inside homes. City employees never have reason to ask for entry unless you’ve scheduled a water use survey and do not sell or endorse commercial products. City employees also do not collect water service payments in person. If someone is trying to enter your home, please report the incident by calling 9-1-1. If you have any questions about your water quality, please visit our website: www.sandiego.gov/public-utilities/water-qualityBe the first to reactLike
SAN DIEGO POLICE DEPARTMENT4 days agoAgencyThis morning, San Diego Police received a call about a man matching the description of a suspect from a sexual assault earlier this week returning to the same home. On April 18, 2024, at 1:45 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a home located in the 2800 block of Wellington St. and sexually assaulted a girl. On April 21, at about 3:25 a.m., an unknown suspect matching the previous suspect description was seen on video surveillance footage returning to the same home and entering the property. He did not gain entry into the home, and no one was harmed. The San Diego Police Department needs assistance in identifying the male (see images below). The suspect appears to be a Hispanic male adult in his early 20’s with dark hair. He was seen wearing a dark hoodie sweatshirt with light printing down the left sleeve and an unknown image on the front of the hoodie. He was wearing light colored sweatpants and dark shoes. The suspect had a backpack and bicycle. Anyone with information regarding this incident or video surveillance from the area is encouraged to call the Child Abuse Unit at (619) 531-2210 or SDPD non-emergency line at (619) 531-2000.83Like67
