Senior Manager Operations Transformation & Technology Delivery

As a Senior Manager of Operations Transformation & Technology Delivery, you will serve as a business lead responsible for implementing innovative technologies and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects that optimize business operations, data infrastructure, and the overall delivery model. In this role you will navigate and lead change in a fast-paced environment, collaborate cross-functionally to align technology solutions with organizational objectives, and ensure quality customer delivery. You will work with stakeholders across the organization, including partners in Product, Engineering, Research Operations, Design, and business leaders in Walmart Health & Wellness. This role focuses on WHRI (Walmart Health Research Institute) helping innovate and develop new capabilities to deliver to the market. Lead the execution of large-scale business transformation projects centered on driving short and long-term business value through technology solutions, data infrastructure, and overall operational efficiencies related to clinical trial activities.

Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple, concurrent projects of the Chief Medical Office, creating and tracking all aspects of a program, including project plans and milestones, resource allocations, status reporting, budget management, and risk mitigation.

Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment, engaging with key sponsors and shared service partners in Product, Engineering, and key business functions to foster collaborative transformation efforts.

Lead matrix project teams ensuring initiatives are well-managed with delivery of expectations, timelines, quality, and budget.

Prepare and deliver updates to the senior leadership team within the Chief Medical Office as well as key shared service executive partners, driving awareness and alignment on key decisions, project timelines, and delivery status.

Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of technology solutions.

Work jointly with Product teams to build short and long-term roadmaps and identify enhancements to increase the value creation of CMO programs.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications...

4+ years of experience in strategic consulting, operations, or technology implementation.
